Combines real-time GPS tracking with automatic phone notification
It has been proven that parolees who are electronically monitored are less than half as likely to commit another crime over one year and less than a third as likely over two years than parolees who pass through traditional channels.
Through a secure, user-friendly web portal, AquilaVision’s solution continually monitors offenders’ movements and location. Offenders wear a tamper-resistant wristband or ankle band which is electronically linked to a GPS device, no larger than a PDA. The device utilizes the cellular network to send continuous updates of the individual’s location. Officers can easily set up zones and other rules to match each offender and situation.
The System:
• Combines state-of-the-art hard-
ware and our a proprietary emergency
notification system OTTER™, to alert
appropriate personnel if any
predetermined rules are violated
• Calls you on the phone when any
rule is violated - instantly
and automatically
• Reduces prison overcrowding and
staff workload, while increasing safety
• Allows parole officers greater
knowledge, control, and efficiency
in case processing
