OTTER Deployed in Seminal County Florida.

AquilaVision and iSECUREtrac have recently teamed up to make the most robust offender monitoring technology on the market. Apart from our home state of Montana, Florida has now signed on for this service.

Now in Seminole County Florida, sex offenders or other criminals who are placed on this offender monitoring equipment will be on an even tighter leash.

Soon, some criminals and suspects released on bond awaiting trail will be released from the Seminal County Jail and fitted with a monitoring device and sent home.

The offender's every step is then monitored by the Seminal County Sheriffs Office. Safety Zones (geographic fences) are set up so if the offender gets too close to their victims, appropriate authorities
a will receive a notification phone call.

AquilaVision’s notification system OTTER is triggered once pre-specified business rules are broken and will place an immediate phone call to the appropriate authorities.

OTTER is capable of notifying approximately 19 parties with a single simultaneous phone call, including sheriff dispatchers and probation officers who will immediately send a deputy to the area.

This offender electronic monitoring system, along with OTTER will not cost the county much. In the long run it will save the county money because criminals and suspects are required to pay the lease for the bracelet, which costs about $11/day as opposed to $50/day, the nations average cost of housing an inmate per day.
