AquilaVision’s Offender Transport Tracking and Emergency Response (OTTER) is that kind of application. It monitors your systems and, when it senses any type of problem, it gets the vital information to those who need it most, every time.
OTTER is an emergency notification system unlike most others. Combining some of the latest sensors and monitoring technology with advanced alerting capabilities, this OTTER is smart. It works relentlessly until the information has been received and confirmed by everyone on the list.
AquilaVision’s OTTER solution has helped many organizations in the public safety, law enforcement, defense, offender, and personal monitoring markets. Its abilities aren’t limited to only those industries, however. Any company that needs real-time monitoring and notification can benefit from OTTER.

The Fiscal Year 2008 Omnibus Appropriations Bill holds good news for Montanans. Among the $112 Million headed to the state, over $650,000 will be used to improve public safety, decrease the amount of non-violent offenders being housed in publicly funded jail and detention facilities, and ultimately save Montanans money.
The Montana Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association has teamed with MonTEC tenant company, AquilaVision, Inc. http://www.aquilavision.com/ to complete the MONTS (Montana Offender Notification and Tracking System) project. AquilaVision’s OTTER system will be a key element in this project. OTTER is an offender tracking system that utilizes GPS signals to track offenders, vehicles or other objects of interest. This real-time system allows for internet-accessible tracking.

Baucus, Tester help secure more than $4 million for Lewis and Clark County
Spending Bill in Washington Means Dollars for Helena Projects from the Office of Senator Jon Tester
Tuesday, December 18, 2007
(WASHINGON, D.C.) Folks in the Queen City are breathing a little easier today after getting word from Montana’s two U.S. Senators that more than $4 million for Helena-area projects have survived an intense budget battle between Congress and President Bush.
The overall bipartisan appropriations bill is before lawmakers in Washington D.C. this week, and it could mean nearly $112 million for more than 120 projects across Montana.
The situation got dramatic when President Bush threatened to veto at-home spending measures put forth by Congress, compelling some lawmakers to suggest stripping all appropriations projects from the overall spending measure. Negotiators came to an agreement on the legislation late Sunday. On Monday, President Bush said he is “hopeful” he can sign the $500 billion bill, reported the Associated Press.
“In Montana, this is money we use to improve the lives of our children, to keep folks healthy and to keep our economy strong,” said Baucus. “In my hometown of Helena, it’s easy to see how important it is to keep funding places like Shodair Hospital and Exploration Works, their efforts really do make kids lives better.”

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The U.S. Senate voted today for a new system to keeping track of offenders who live in all corners of the Montana.
